@lelionmoddeur: Actually we don't think YouTube uses LUFS at all. -13 LUFS is the overall estimate. If your songs is @ -11 LUFS overall, it'll be turned down to -13. If it's @ -8 LUFS, it'll be turned down to -13. If it's @ -17 (overall) then it will be turned up until it's either -13 LUFS, or reaches the point where clipping would occur. So you can go louder than -13 LUFS if you like, but it won't make the song play back any louder. Does that make sense ?
