Flora Part 1 Description:
Men in general are often depicted in conflict with the natural world, trapped in an extractive relationship that is always about dominance. In this episode we open a dialogue about our philosophical beliefs to our natural resources and surroundings. Exploring the rituals and love language of adornment and how it’s used in customary practice to greet each other. We talk about the role of natural resources in our ability as Moana people to navigate the Pacific Ocean in this first episode entitled Flora.
