I feel that his melodic line needs some variation along the way.

I quite like this track It sounds pleasantly warm, feels very smooth and comfortable. Very laid back. It builds up really nice and everything works together very well indeed. Nice work !

I really like the slow build up until this point.

It's a really nice tune, I guess for this genre it's even a bit too short. Another thing that I noticed is that the bass is missing a bit of presence at least to my ears. It could sound bigger and more upfront. Very nice entry though. Good luck :)

Nice tune that could have been a 5 had you had a better kick (there were some nice kick pre-sets) and a bit more variation on the rest of the percussion.

I think almost the entire song has a very cohesive and smooth mix that works nicely with the exception of the kick drum which seem a bit too noisy and lacks that percussive bass that would really give the song that extra sense of rhythm. It's very good though.

Surge sounds way better than I remember back in 159. ....I suppose this track is unusual in that it has 3 or 4 minute middle section that is ambient "background" music before having two minutes at the end with much more happening. Hopefully a few of you will appreciate what I have done here.
