Dance Of The Forest Fairies (feat. Tete Bero)

In the jungle surrounding Tarapoto, Peru, there is a Cicada that announces the dawn of the day and the sunset hour. At precisely the same time each day (Apprx 6:00 AM/PM shifting with the turn of the sun) these angelic beings send out their call to signal to all the beings and spirits of the jungle. This track is inspired by and also features the sound of their call.. Haux.

Grandfather Time (feat. Tete Bero)

In the remote forests and jungles, just before it rains, the frogs come out and start singing their songs.. Are they calling the rain, or is the rain calling them? 

 This song is an ode to our 4 legged friends whom, along with the delicate eco-systems that support them, are very much in peril due to our improper use of chemical poisons. Save the frogs/Salve as rãs/Salva a las ranas -Raise/purchase/eat/demand organic, pesticide and chemical free foods. Haux.

Rainmaker (feat. Tete Bero)

This is a tribute song to the late and great Dr. T -one of Ethiopia's preeminent doctors, social leaders, great dancers and just an upstanding gentleman. This song is an offering of my love to his family and a song to remind us all of the gifts and moments of beauty we have shared with those who have passed before us. Angels stand by our sides, everyday. 

 After Composing the music for the Ethiopian film, "DIFRET", alongside preeminent Cellist Dave Eggar, it was a natural instinct that we would work together on this tribute. It's an honor to, once again, collaborate with such a world respected master instrumentalist.

Doctor T (feat. Dave Eggar & Tete Bero)

This offering is born from a 20 year musical relationship between Master musicians Tom Rossi and Tete Bero and was formed around a live freestyle jam between Tom's Kora and Tete's N'goni. They then added other instrument layers to create this sound reflecting their feelings of friendship and this ocean side feeling jam. Featuring the spoken word poetry of brother and full time Surfer, Robin York (Mananxawe Huni), waxing poetically about Surfing and the ocean in Shipibo, Spanish and English.

So Nice (Feat Tony Moss & Tete Bero)

“Songs From the Jungle” is a collection of acoustic material born out of Tete’s study of the Shipibo Tradition’s plant medicines of Peru. These live performances were captured at the end of the night after ceremony with Ayahuasca within the acoustic space of a traditional “Maloka”, or ceremony house. These offerings are raw and vulnerably expressed prayers for humanity starting from the source of personal healing awakenings. Tete Bero sings from a place of 15 years experience in the Shipibo Tradition and displays his multi-instrumental prowess, playing both a West African “N’Goni” (a 14 stringed harp cousin to the Kora) and an Appalachian four stringed Dulcimer. These songs are “Channels” from the soul level to create a feeling of connection as well as pure expression from the heart space.

Emergence {feat. Tete Bero}
