You never know what someone is going through and my goal is to help make someone’s day a little brighter through sharing what helps me get through the day. You Filthy Animal

Put a great deal of time and energy into this mix and cover art to give it a true Derz vibe. Back in October 2020, a good friend of mine who put on the Revibe festival in Myrtle Beach, SC told me to be prepared to play a set if the opportunity arises. Unfortunately I never got a chance to play, but I had put together a playlist with some of my favorite producers tunes that I though meshed well togehter. Through the following months, I tweaked and adjusted the track order, added acapellas, and changed up the drops to carry the feel I was going for. The Bob Marley interview I choose for the intro aligns perfectly with my perspective on music and how all music carries a feel, as Bob puts it "Well, you see, the way I feel about the music… it can’t be copied ya know? But… It’s not copy to it… it’s da feel… ya know? It carry a feellll”. Shouts out to my roommate Andy Sobolewski for helping me customize the cover art for this one!
