"The Mental Game" is a podcast looking behind the scenes of the AFL world, discussing the support systems in place for AFL / AFLW players pre and post their careers. In our first episode, we speak to Courtenay Dempsey about life after footy - including the brutal delisting process, as well as whether players are adequately supported by the system in finding / being equipped for work following their time in the elite and all-consuming AFL world. In our second episode, April, Jono and Blake speak with Britney Gutknecht about how she is being supported in the lead up to the 2019 AFLW Draft and her likely AFLW career. 

This podcast was produced and presented by second year RMIT students Georgia Bennett-Murphy, Willem Van Denderen, April Austen, Ned O'Bryan, Blake Gaffiero and Jonathan McGrath.
