And I repented this year, I repented of something that is just a heart attitude. 

And I was like God, I'm done. I'm done. 

I'm changed in these thought patterns, changed in these places, this changed and I'm going to talk to this guy, and I'm not going to do this anymore and I'm done with it.

If you're going to repent, be done with it. 
Change. 
And if God puts something on your heart to repent of, and you hear His voice, don't harden your heart.

There's a lot going on now - and in the midst of it, I can get busy with life, worry, preparing, parenting, helping, finding "happiness" (entertainment etc).
Do I wait for the Lord? There's so much in the Scripture about waiting for God. And the peace and rest that come with that. I have felt that at different times in my life, and even this week on Wednesday evening. God had me slow down and just be with him. What a blessing.

A few scriptures that have been beautiful lately:
Psalm 16:11
You make known to me the path of life;
    in your presence there is fullness of joy;
    at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

Isaiah 25:4a
For you have been a stronghold to the poor,
