Baltic Power for the new UV Funk show. Being one of the most dedicated music lovers in Dresden @lksczk from the @zeptermusik Crew delights us with an acoustic tour through Latvia. Be prepared for new favorites like NSRD, an avantgarde New Wave outfit that was formed in 1982. The group’s activities included not only music but also performances video installations, photography and video art. Or the fellow band Gadi Pirms Sākuma, that created a very unique version of Coldwave and Neue Musik. Both Bands were part of Riga’s DIY scene of the 1980s and 1990s, often borrowing gear from colleagues for their recordings. There’s a lot to discover here. Sounds Of Ogigia is a new label inspired by ancient Greek gnosis, ritual practices and deviant sounds. 

The label is a crossover from the homonymous show for the Edinburgh based EH-FM which is presented by dj and promoter Pako Vega since August 2018.

The first release is by one of the strongest names in the game these days: Aggelos Baltas aka Anatolian Weapons @anatolianweapons. 

On this occasion, the Greek man is delivering a full-on eclectic EP with his unique ethnic touch. This four-track EP is a delicacy for the nonconformists; going from a Psych-Rock exploration and Dancehall rhythms to cathartic Slow-Chug and EBM belters.

The EP will be release digitally only on 21.11.2020 exclusively via Bandcamp.
