Bad Karma

This is a new version of a song I wrote in 2016 for Song A Week. I've been having this song idea in my head for days (A Hundred Ways To Die), but I couldn't make it quite right the way I wanted to, so I started playing Naked Poetry (I tend to play my old songs when I get frustrated during songwriting) and realized it could fit very well there.  This is one of my favorite songs too, so I am sooo happy to come back to it.

After Dreaming

So, last night my internet connection was basically DEAD. I had nothing to do for 3-4 hours, and out of nowhere I started writing songs. This one came out pretty easily: it's just a bunch of stuff I've been feeling for these past few days. I used to be terrified of being alone, but somehow I ended up realizing that maybe it's not that bad. I know it doesn't seem like a happy and positive song, but I swear it is.
