Something about your approach brings me a lot of good nostalgia for the 90s alternative-grunge era.  I think that era so far was my favorite to live in  as far as pop music goes (very big in my formative years of playing music). Sometimes we get so far away from just locking ourselves in our room with a guitar but that can be the most authentic and deep stuff.

I liked the lo-fi effect putting that vocal in just one side.

I agree with the comments of your lyrics getting stronger, and I think the same is also true of your melody writing.  I really like the lyrics in the first stanza, great start.  And the melody throughout is very interesting, paints different moods.
