'7456. Live at Human Resources, Los Angeles' summarizes Fabio Perletta’s recent works 'Genkai' (in collaboration with sound designer for Pioneer Haruo Okada) and 'Ichinen', both released by LINE imprint, in 2016 and 2017 respectively. As it blends the two albums’ distinctive approaches, it reveals their contrasts in terms of hi dynamic range and aesthetics of hesitation, silence and instability. This live recording marks the end of a cycle of works initiated with 'Kaikō' (collaboration with Haruo Okada, 901 Editions, 2014), which ruminates on notions of presence, limitation, contemplation, patience and humility. 

Like the photograph on the cover, the music explores distance, proximity and the necessity to be emotionally detached to achieve balance. It is impossible to enjoy a flower if it’s viewed too closely, it will appear blurry. Like the photograph, the music doesn’t change, instead it exists in potentially infinite variations through its exposure to each listener unique memories, experiences, and perceptions. '7456. Live at Human Resources, Los Angeles' thus asks the questions: is there and where is truth? Are artworks really finished? Do artworks which artists create belong to them? Duality, inconsistency, impermanence, and paradoxes are themes Fabio Perletta is questioning and enjoys his inability or need to solve.

His appearance was made possible with support from DE.MO./MOVIN’UP, II session 2016. MOVIN’UP II session 2016 was promoted by Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, General Directorate for Contemporary Art and Architecture and Urban Suburbs, General Directorate for Performing Arts and GAI – Association for the Circuit of the Young Italian Artists.

Forwind arrives at release number 25 with a trip to the Norwegian forests. Rune Clausen’s “Tones  jul”  leads the listener on a sinister trail through the thicket with a foreboding set of tracks that come winter ready from subzero Norway.

Tones jul  follows up the moods from his collaboration with Anders Brørby, “Mannen Faller”, a tribute to the long gone Norwegian forests, its animals and people living there in both fear and joy. Rune's Forwind debut is a darker and more anguished piece of work. Rune’s first solo album under his own name, is musically and thematically influenced by Norwegian folk music, ambient, ambient black metal, the rough and dark fates of 19th century people.

This year London has experienced several weekends of the hottest summer and that moved the Australian sound artist Kate Carr, whose practice is centred on articulating the relationship between people and place through sound, to point her microphone at the city. This volume is based on her recordings during a particularly hot long weekend in a corner of very busy intersection in London, where she resides now. In Heatwave, Carr is interested in both the serious and also the more prosaic aspects of soundscapes related to climate change. She investigated the throbbing summer music from her neighborhood, people’s efforts to keep cool, and the uneasiness which accompanies these everyday activities in this moment of environmental crisis. The way these pieces construct and compensate, with all the tangible sounds that fold into larger moods via multiple instruments, exemplifies her acumen in creating sonic stories that reflect our multi-layered experience of reality.

Navigating the intersection of experimental, club, and academic forms of electronic music, the sounds of GOLPESAR desire an amorphous sonic experience which blurs & overspills aesthetic boundaries in an excess of poetic lyricism. An affection term in Persian, GOLPESAR imperfectly translates to “boy of flower”.

Jack Callahan is a composer and sound engineer based in New York. Since 2013 he has been primarily working under the moniker die Reihe, taken from the journal edited by Herbert Eimert and Karlheinz Stockhausen. He runs Bánh Mì Verlag, an imprint dedicated to contemporary experimental music and culture. Jeff Witscher is a musician who currently manages his own custodial and maintenance company Vincent’s Expert Cleaners in Portland, Or. He has recorded under many different names, Rene Hell perhaps being the most known. He focuses primarily on sound composition as well as video works for his live performances. In Every Single Person Has Some Muscle RM Francis reinterprets Jack Callahan and Jeff Witscher’s 2019 composition What Happens on Earth Stays on Earth as an abstract drama of entropy set in the uncanny valley of artificial speech. The six human voices of What Happens on Earth Stays on Earth have been replaced by machinic proxies synthesized from the speech of the original performers. Vestiges of the organic appear briefly to comment on their own retreat from the realm of the audible before withdrawing to the edges of speech, out of which their inchoate vocalizations obtrude intermittently on the unfolding narrative. Whereas the original work was indebted to Robert Ashley’s spoken operas, Every Single Person Has Some Muscle redeploys the iterative strategy of Alvin Lucier’s I Am Sitting in a Room in the domain of machine listening, in which the transcription errors of commercial dictation software replace acoustic reverberation as the means by which the human voice is eroded, yielding a compositional logic based on phonetic drift and semantic refraction. Featuring the voices of Josh Haringa, Daren Ho, Madalyn Merkey, Colleen O'Connor, Nihal Ramchandani, and Asha Sheshadri. Mastered by Jack Callahan.

The track revisits an Abbasid poem around a cosmic water clock, written by a 10th c. Palestinian poet, logician, physician and chef who was known as 'Kushajam'. It is said that Kushajam lived between Jerusalem, Aleppo, Damascus and Baghdad and was very active in different circles related to rhetorics, Abbasid astronomy, poetry reading and chanting.

CLUB CHAI Vol. 2 is a collection of tracks by artists whose work truly embodies the Club Chai ethos that exists in storytelling through sound. As we close out the label, this release remains a lustrous perspective on the future.

The archive book is a culmination of all the moving parts that make up Club Chai at once – a way to honor the project's complexity and intimacy. A way to honor the project's complexity and intimacy. How do we remember and archive something that is really made up of a fleeting feeling? Being on the dancefloor with friends, singing in unison or zoning out in complete bliss. It feels right to create something physical that can be held, touched and encountered slowly and 
carefully. Making this book entirely with friends makes it feel even more intimate and special.

Klotho — сольный проект Марка Грибоедова, со-основателя лейбла Get Busy, участника дуэта Yung Acid.  Проект Klotho сочетает в себе генерацию электронного звука и записи живых инструментов. Большинство вдохновения приходит из истории Древней Греции: из поэзии Гомера и рассказов Платона о возвышенных мирах к которым посредствам музыки и пытается приблизится автор. Klotho определяет свою музыку как футуристические и интуитивные звуки, через которые он исследует самого себя и мир вокруг.


Klotho — is a solo project of Mark Griboyedov, co-founder of Get Busy label, member of Yung Acid. Klotho -  is a project combining the generation of electronic sound and recording live instruments. Most of the inspiration comes from the history of Ancient Greece: from the poetry of Homer and the stories of Pluto about the sublime worlds to which the author tries to approach by means of music. Klotho defines his music as futuristic and intuitive sounds through which he explores himself and the world around him. To create music the following are used: field recordings from a recorder, recordings of ethnic instruments of various cultures and analog sound synthesis.

We all know Keiji Haino as a legendary musician and it's always a special experience to host him. The day prior to his concert at les ateliers claus, he came to Brussels and expressed his wish to do some record shopping. And so we did - in between soundcheck and the actual concert. Keiji Haino likes to hear unique sounds and performers and so we went on a search. In a certain store in Brussels I made him listen to one of my favourite albums by Igor Wakhevitch (Hator) - he listened and promised me half-jokingly his performance at les ateliers claus would be better.

I had this dream - I could hear the galloping coming my way. The dark knights of the soul, riders of the realm. They were coming to present me a coin, a choice, "heads or tails?"... "Headz", I said. With a flick of a thumb, the coin spiraled into the air in slow motion. In a state of suspended time, the coin revealed that it had many sides and perspectives, so many beyond heads and tails - almost infinity like. It continued to spin, like a Rodolex, demonstrating every possibility for what felt like an eternity. Transfixed, I stared as it went from slow to fast, so fast at this point that it formed into a black sphere. I put my palm out underneath it, which is when they told me, "the world comes from shadow... with precision." The coin landed in my palm and I clenched my fist. I awoke instantly. I never saw which way that coin landed! My laptop was next to me, and 'Blue Flowers' by Doctor Octagon was playing on Youtube - Nipuna
