Heey Everybody,

I just love the game 'Resident Evil 4', also the dark music and so it inspired me a lot in Sound Design and atmospheres.

This is a remake of their Novistadors Theme, I hope you'l like it and get scared when you listen to this;).

By the way, I made it with a demo of Sylenth1, so sometimes you might hear a strange voice, that is from the demo xD.

I was inspired by Ratchet and Clank. A soundtrack in the game 'Going Commando', the infiltrator puzzle which sounds very futuristic to me.
I think it is a kind of ring modulation.

Heey Everybody,

This will be my first real and complete composition in Horror style.
Actually, I was inspired by 3 things, composers 'Midnight Syndicate', Resident Evil 4 and Rachet & Clank.

Beginning with a Rachet & Clank inspired harp, followed by a depressing, sad orchestral theme, which is inspired by Midnight Syndicate and all those atmospheric effects are inspired by game Resident Evil 4.

Sander Bastiaans pres. The Misticum - Forgotten Castle (Work In Progress)

Sander Bastiaans, also known as 'TheMisticum' , was born in 1993 in the Netherlands and is a talented producer/composer/sounddesigner.

Around July 2011, he realized that having your own style not only means the melodies, but also having a unique sound and from that moment he started with sound design beginning to experiment with a plugin called Sylenth1.
Soon after that, he began to develop a new side of him, a dark side.

Because Sander was a fanatic game player earlier, played games like Call of Duty, Resident Evil, Diablo, Doom and alot more, it inspired him alot.
Also Horror music like '' Midnight Syndicate'' and Dark Ambient producers had a great influence on him.

Although he had many inspirations, Rachet & Clank was his greatest.
He is a great fan of the game and music and if he should describe it, it would be a mixture between jazz, Octotonic music and film music with a great balance between acoustic, electronic instruments and a uptempo breakbeat with simple but effective drumloops.

3 years later, composing is a big part of his life.
He musical interest now is very wide, variating from jazz to classical music, from trance to horror and a lot more.

Recently, he discovered that many of the music he loves uses the Octatonic tonescale, so now he is gonna focus on that particulair tonescale while composing his music.
