Who is The MixMage? A highly experienced and trained audio engineer based in Texas, with 7 years of experience. He is a graduate of Mediatech Institute of Austin, 09 alumni.

Why go by a pseudonym? He went the other route and is well known across the music industry. However, we're all artists who should express our identities to reflect ourselves and our art.

The MixMage believes in dynamics, without dynamics there are no loud and soft parts to a song, essentially there is no soul to the song! Retaining dynamics means you sound better online, on air, EVERYWHERE! 

If your waveform looks like a brick after online music mixing, you've got no dynamics. An online mix engineer should make every effort to retain as much dynamic range as possible so you consistently sound your best. 

Modern music has taught us that the volume knob is more important than pushig the mix and master.
