Neil Young is one of the greatest songwriters from our neighbor to the north. Helpless is one of his iconic songs, and we decided to take a different spin on it. Devon came in to sing backing vocals on this tune giving us a nice big choral feeling in the chorus.

Love or hate it, What's Up is one of the most recognizable songs of the early '90s. Written by Linda Perry, who has gone on to work with the likes of Gwen Stefani, Courtney Love, Melissa Etheridge, Cheap Trick and many more, we offer up a version more at our pace with Devon on lead vocals.

What's Up

Rancid is one of our favorite bands, and this track is one of our favorites off of ...And Out Come the Wolves. We recorded this while working on some folky/bluegrass arrangements for a radio show we did. There was a limited release on our main bandcamp site, but we feel that the Undercover Series is its appropriate home.

Olympia, WA

I came across Cash on the Barrelhead while listening to Dolly Parton's wonderful album, The Grass is Blue. The song is originally by the Louvin Brothers, a conflicted duo. We took an aggressive take on the track, and Adam stopped by to lay down some flare on the guitar.

Originally made popular by The Monkees, (I'm Not Your) Steppin' Stone, by Tommy Boyce and Bobby Hart, was also recorded by Minor Threat and release on their In My Eyes EP. We originally recorded this track for Minor Threat tribute album with a very limited release on Infested Records and are happy to now include it in our Undercover Series.

Still Uneasy

It turns out I grew up in the same town as MoZella, the writer of this now infamous song. Strip away the Miley antics, and what you have is a song about a troubled relationship written with not all to dissimilar progressions than you find in most pop punk tunes. Haters gonna hate, but we think this is an interesting take on the tune.
