This is the first in a series of songs that may or may not be The Monarch-esque material I'm hoping to complete for a 'song-a-day' challenge some friends have issued.  This was written in a day and a half, so I'm off to a rough start, but I'll do my best to carry on.  This song is about bad mistakes.

Beautiful people lie ruined in its wake

This is a very different sound for something to be uploaded here, but I'm feeling a lot of freedom with this song a day challenge.  I intend to create some volumes of ambient work as The Monarch some day, so I see this as a fitting sound to be found here for now.  This song is about love and gods (the latter fitting in perfectly with my lyrics as a secondary thought, hence the name also).

Endymion

This song will eventually become much much more.  There are moments in it that truly grip me, but others which I need more than a day to refine.  There is a ton of repetition in this song because it feels cathartic for me to repeat good musical motifs that characterize an emotion for me, and the emotion in this case was that of feeling stuck.  May the release this song was for me pass on to you.
