I came up with a bass groove , added some drum loops, ask Andrew to do guitars, while I was tracking bass he wrote the lyrics…. it was all done and created in one short afternoon back in 2010

Lagging Behind

1st REAL day off in 3 months, I had decided to play some rock and roll

story behind the lead 
THERE WAS NOTHING but the beat loop playing, there were no other guitars, the lead was alone and I was doing "whatever" thinking I'd delete it, but then I added guitars, and just loved the result, because it gives colors the damn thing, it's like the Anti Solo : P 

it's unpretentious and hazardous, yet I like it so bare with it : D

the main bass riff has been with me for the past 7 years, I played it in a song with Dr Pocket back in Vancouver, and the guitar-bass verse got use in "Corporate Koalas" with the WaxBuckets back a couple years ago, now I'm dusting it off and adding a new chorus, that comes out of the "Donkey's Quick Answer"  's sessions or whatever you wanna call it. 

what is this song about? about bowling after a hard day's work and stuff , being a funky samurai in the warfare of daily grind, it's about Walter saying "Fuck it, dude, let's go bowling"

since i didn't record anything new in feb. I'm uploading an old track of mine. 

it's one loop going on forever, 1 rhythm guitar, and 1 bass (added about a year an a half later). the bass line does not repeat itself but flow as a constant stream. and maybe i'll add a surf rock guitar lead later on, who knows.
