Tod Laursen , Chancellor of American University of Sharjah joins the Morning Majlis to discuss the inaugural Sharjah International Conference on AI & Linguistics (SICAL) that will be held October 17–18, 2024 at the AUS campus.

With sessions ranging from “Governmental Strategy for Linguistic Intelligence and Culture” through to “Language, Culture and Identity in the Digital Age,” the conference will touch on technology, language and culture, education and government, reflecting how pervasive AI technology already is in many key sectors of the economy.
