Ricardo Emmanuel Barajas Velasco (Ricardo Naipes) Born September 26, 1985 is a Mexican pop and rock musician singer-songwriter, born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, and raised in Detroit Michigan. After playing in different bands in 2005 he started his solo career and recorded his first Album "Rompiendo Barreras" along with a video clip for a song for that same album. His Last name Barajas means "Playing cards" or "Deck of playing cards" a game wich is also known as "Naipes"  in Spain (That's why he chose it as his stage name).
Naipes began his career performing mainly Acoustic shows around his hometown, in 2010 he created his own Independent Record Label, Maquina Records and realesed his second album "Estrategia Sobrevivir" which qualified him for 9 categories in the Latin Grammys 2010. In October 2012 he signed with the management company The Moxie Promo which is a jump start for him in a professional music ground, the company decided to record a new version of the album with the same name "Estrategia sobrevivir" and to do a re-realese of the album for this coming summer 2013
