The Racketeers are excited to announce the release of their latest single following their album ‘Toothache’ in 2020. ‘Ghost Town’ marks the debut of saxophonist Andrew Berry, the band’s newest member, who brings a new jazz infused dimension to their garage rock sound. 

The song has a driving drum groove and bass line, underpinned by memorable saxophone melodies and intricate guitar riffs. The upbeat mood of the single contrasts with the complex meaning behind the song, which deals with the ‘elephant’ in the room mentioned in the chorus - putting on a brave face during difficult periods in life. Whilst Ghost Town shows the band is evolving and expanding its sound, inspired by the work of Jonny Davis and Sam Fender, the overdriven lead guitar solo of the bridge shows the band is still delivering the euphoric hooks that have defined The Racketeers sound since their inception in Leeds in late 2016.
