For the VIP opening reception of “Mick Rock’s Greatest Hits”, a solo exhibition presented by 15 Mins of Fame Gallery in collaboration with Sailor Jerry’s and Venu Magazine, The Muses cultivated an irreverent jukebox mix of glam rock greats and punk progenitors meant to augment exhibited works and patron inhibitions alike. Punctuated by underground funk, yé-yé and garage pop, this live-recorded set featuring over four hours of The Limiñanas, T.Rex, Shocking Blue, the Velvet Underground, Blondie, Ananda Shankar, The Paragons, David Bowie, Funkadelic, Kim Fowley, Le Tigre and more is available in its entirety upon request.

Lovely, dark and deep, this afterparty comedown mix caters to wee hours of nocturnal delight. Drifting from vampy garage romp into a Delphic blend of downtempo splendor, Midnight Special riffs on the sacred in-between space of waking and sleeping consciousness for miles on end.

Joined by The Misshapes, Violet Chachki, Gottmik and Carlos Jadraque, The Muses had the distinct pleasure of closing out the monumental weekend with a celebratory blend of classics and contemporaries, icons and up-and-comers, spanning the gamut from Crystal Waters, Diana Ross, ABBA and Grace Jones to Jodie Harsh, Alok, Kim Petras and Conrad Taylor among others. The Muses had the recent pleasure of partnering with John Varvatos and friends for a night of rock & roll, house, disco and reckless abandon hosted by Gospel in celebration of the brand’s fw 22 collection debut.
