The Musgraves exceptional debut album ‘You That Way, I This Way’ is set for a 23rd July release with UK and Irish tour dates to follow in September. The album is brimming with 50s and 60s pop/soul influences and a sound that sits somewhere between The House Martins, The Ronettes and The Beach Boys. With a BBC 6Music Record of the Week and a ‘Q The Music Track of the Day’ garnered for the infectious debut single ‘So Sofia’ last year, as well as further airplay on Q Radio and huge support from the BBC Regional network, The Musgraves established themselves as ‘ones to watch’ via their critically acclaimed debut EP, ‘Lost In Familiarity’. Their recent appearance on BBC 1’s ‘The Graham Norton Show’, saw the momentum continue to build for the four piece band, and on May 10th they featured as part of the BBC Radio 2 ‘2Day’, sitting in with Graham Norton for an acoustic session and interview.

‘Comfortable Shoes’ is the brilliant second single from rising Midlands roots-pop four piece The Musgraves. Lyrically, it explores a failed relationship rekindled on the basis of rose tinted memories, where the couple soon fall back into the same routine that led to breakup the first time around. In true Musgraves style, it sits on a feel-good pop arrangement brimming with 50s and 60s pop/soul influences. 

Following their appearance on The Graham Norton Show (BBC1 UK), the momentum continues to build for the The Musgraves. ‘Comfortable Shoes’ is on course to follow in the footsteps of its successful predecessor, ‘Last Of Me’, and the band will feature as part of the BBC Radio 2 ‘2Day’ on 10th May, sitting in with Graham Norton for an acoustic session and interview. A mini tour will follow in June with a series of festival dates throughout the summer.

‘Last Of Me’ won huge support from BBC Radio 2 (reaching the B-List) and regional radio across the UK as well as in Ireland. The likes of Steve Wright, Chris Evans and 2FM’s Will Leahy gave the track multiple rotations with the video racking up over 20,000 plays in just 8 weeks.

The Musgraves debut album ‘You That Way, I This Way’ is set for a July release with UK and Irish tour dates to follow in September. The highly anticipated album is jam-packed with feel-good singles and some breathtaking epic ballads.
