So now it's Spring and all the little flowers and birds are chirping in thier happy world. And so are we, right? Let's hope that the pretty Dandelions spring up with some song and cheer in our world, the one we just defrosted.

We felt this song best describes one's entry to the world of romance, and being loved. We love everything, and what else do we expect? Can we find it in this time of new things and staying in our place with peace and harmony? It's what we deserve, we glided into this world, or it seems like that, carefree and spreading peace, love, and joy wherever we go. Like the pedals of the singular dandelion, how graceful and sweet it is.

Thoughts on Seraglio

Missed connections, in a world of 8 billion, is not uncommon. None the less, it’s something we desperately hope never happens to us. Seraglio (the g is silent) touches on that feeling when you know someone is noticing you and you notice them too… and you notice them noticing you, but you are frozen.  You feel heat on your face..unsure if you should say something or simply let the moment pass. Will you ever see them again?

On the music itself, there’s perfidious little notes in there, populating a corner of a neighborhood nobody thought anybody lived there. They come out at night, after dusk, especially on kind of foggy nights where not sure if you see what you’re seeing, or hearing what you’re hearing. And they just hang out there for a little while till the clouds come and it isn’t safe to stay there anymore. Can you see them?

In this song Seraglio, it’s the B natural in an Eb song. An augmented fifth, and nobody at music schools seems to like that. However augmented fifths are in many music treasures.

With a barebones roster of Jennifer Nice on vocals, Richard Larsen on keys and production, Eddie Barajas on turntables, and Scott Eric Olivier on guitar and drums. UNA imparts a larger-than-life sound on listeners, telling intricate tales in a direct, sensual and cinematic style.
Inspired by the present, the past and things as simple as a feeling, UNA is a spirited electronic track inspired by an insufferable crime of passion; an opulent lullaby based on global human drama; an anguished, orchestral trip-hop ballad about an unstable world.
Could the magic of UNA be categorized into a genre? Maybe. Downtempo and electronica surely loom large in the quartet's repertoire, but so do blues, jazz, Latin influences, soul and funk; a retro-future sensibility with a sound firmly planted in the present. 
Dedicated to borrowing from all genres to tell their stories, a throughline persists; earnestly sultry vocals, penchant keys, expansive basslines, blithesome gritty instrumentation and cavernous effects forming a pleasing marriage between light and dark that drips with charisma.
The smoke twisting in the wind, the little girl crying in the closet, the existential conundrums of the modern world. The mystical experience of simply living. UNA is the sound of everyday living. With a twist.
