A huge congratulations to everyone involved in this. We have a mix of complete recording newbies, seasoned pros and everything in between. All as incredible as each other.

The MusiCollective is a community of people that get behind each others' projects, for example by helping with songwriting, arrangements, recording and production. This Island - demo

Demo 5 of songs I wrote in my songwriting group sessions over the last year. The prompt for this one was to look at the last photo on your camera roll, and mine was a screenshot of the address for an upcoming artists/friends retreat. Enjoy! :)

Cabin 

There were six of us 
Just making art
A weekend away wasn’t quite the start 
But it was a beginning 

We drove on in
From Canada
New York and the capitol
And we met in the middle 

Falling leaves
Painted trees
Shinying (I know it’s not a real word but it’s what appeared and I like it) up a new 
Version of me 

Looking out
On the lake
If this all weren’t so real
You would think it was fake

The tarot cards         
Tell the truth 
They cracked us open in the new moon
We could sense we were winning 

The concerts and 
The solar eclipse 
The pictures snapping gave us a glimpse of 
The life we’d been wanting

City of Reflections

This is the first track Doug (aka Doru - https://soundcloud.com/doru_uk) and I ever fully co-wrote, with each other or anyone. Big credits and kudos to Doru-Doug for the story, most of the lyrics (I only threw in verse 3), the melody and his epic bass and electric guitar contributions.
