ft. the Belgian ‘Red Devils’ Score with ‘Melody’, the official UEFA 2016 anthem

In October, Belgium's national ‘Red Devils’ earned a place at the 2016 UEFA European Championship in France. After the match at the King Baudouin Stadium, the world's best DJs, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike performed a sensational DJ set. 

And as it turns out, that was only a taste of things to come. Because the Belgian DJ-duo also composed the official Euro 2016 anthem, ‘Melody’.  At the request of the Red Devils and the Royal Belgian Football Association, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike got busy in the studio to create the Belgian Euro 2016 anthem. But they weren't alone. They were joined by international top DJs Steve Aoki and Ummet Ozcan. The result is ‘Melody’. It's a strong anthem that will inspire our Red Devils to perform at their best in France. 

The video clip was created by director Adil El Arbi. You may have spotted him recently around Antwerp, where he filmed a part of the clip. It promises to be a film with an urban look and feel.  And a sorely needed dose of positive energy for us Belgians.

Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike give their take on Wolfpack vs Avancada ‘GO!’ 

 Not content with being the #1 DJ’s in the world, recent movements suggest Belgian brothers Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are hell-bent on total world domination. After their recent win at Mexico’s EMPO awards, where the duo picked up an impressive 3 accolades, they have been hard at work in the studio, giving us their version of the massive Avancada’s 1999 Hard House hit ‘GO!’ featuring the production talent of Wolfpack, who’s recent collaboration with Warp Brothers - ‘Phatt Bass 2016’, reached a mighty #5 in the Beatport chart. Premiered at the recent Bringing The Madness shows in Antwerp, and with a remix package also on the way, ‘GO!’ looks set to smash both the charts and dancefloors worldwide.
 The track is unmistakably Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, with uncompromising beats driving the whole track. The breakdown is punctuated by an ominous looping stab and womping synths, which build up towards the cheeky vocal from the original ‘GO!’. The duo also takes the piercing synth that was a standout element in ‘GO!’ and uses it to tease the drop before the massive bassline signals the cue to start dancing. 8-bit melodies break up the relentless beat and provide a great counterpoint, gluing the track together and showing just why Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike are at the top of the dance music pyramid.
  On ‘GO!’, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike’s expertise is on show throughout, and provides evidence, if ever any was needed, that the pair know exactly how to concoct a club track that works. They have firmly established themselves as one of the biggest names in dance music, and given their recent successes, it looks like the duo are showing no sign of letting up. Founded in 2014, Men I Trust (menitrust.com), is an indie-dance band from Montreal (Canada) who produces its own music videos. “We love smooth sounds, calm melodies and simple rhythms that relax, but make your right foot tap and your chin bounce on the beats. We are all in DYI: we record, mix, master and shoot our music videos ourselves, and we’re loving it!”

We recorded You Deserve This last summer. We weren’t supposed to do any music that afternoon, we were really chilled out and in a great mood. We were playing with some rhythms and started having fun with detuned and off-phase synths. We recorded the guitars and the final vocals last month following our initial idea: it’s all about relaxing, wishing good to oneself and others and the nostalgic joy of feeling part of the universe.

In a surprise release, the brother’s passion is for their fans is on display again as they drop a mammoth new ‘Garden of Madness’ EP. Collating all the latest dancefloor favourites from their extensive musical arsenal into one package, the brothers want to raise the mood and give fans the chance to party with them from the comfort of their own homes.

This exclusive lockdown Garden of Madness megamix is brimming with party-starting energy and insatiable vibes, and comes complete with a Tomorrowland introduction – as a nod to the global festival we all love and which sadly will be postponed this summer.
