This tracks sounds consist of all real instruments and samples i recorded and finished within one week. You will find a wide range of new sounds including a bassline made with a Didgeridoo, a gameboy, coffee grinders, a synth made from my dog barking, clocks, multiple flutes for both high/mid synths and all kinds of sounds of strange little instruments. For my drums i used recordings of my toasters, can openers, every sound i could find in my kitchen, my turkish hand drum, and the list could go on forever. But thanks to those who helped me get the sounds. I also want to thank my girlfriend Kirsten for singing the female vocals. Im trying to explore and break out side the box, but at the same time im keeping certain elements of singing and raping so the music is not to abstract. The artwork is done by my dear friend Josh Mitchell, hope you enjoy! Much love - tree

Composed and recorded, played by tree with the help of Haven Dlott on cello, Satya Jimenez on violen, and Jesse Nickell on accordion. The directive of The Ashwood Project is to collect and preserve what scraps we can find originating from Tree Collaborations, so that others may still discover the wonders of this now passed organization for themselves. Or, so that fans of the group may see/hear their favorite pieces online.

"Tree Collaborations is a multimedia art collective out of San Francisco's Underground. A project built to push creation for the sake of tapping into the sacred side of things. This family of young artists creates everything from music to films, street art to animations, and a clothing line. Tree Collaborations is a multilayered creative movement."

The core of the Ashwood Project is a handful of fans that have been following Tree's works since they started in the early 2010s, and have been collecting pieces ever since. Though, membership is open to anyone who has recovered a piece of media from the Tree era, or simply supports our cause.
