Hailing from Mulubinba (Newcastle AU), M A R N i E seamlessly fuses bass, dub, and dance to create a unique sound that evokes both playfulness and intensity. Her jungle-inspired productions and DJ sets showcase a distinct blend of percussive drums, chants, atmospheric vocals, and gritty basslines.

With over 10,000 streams across Spotify and Soundcloud, Marnie has attracted the attention of leading Australian artists, earning mentorships from Sippy, Just A Gent, and Slumberjack, all of whom support her upcoming projects.

She has brought her vibrant energy to stages like Party in the Paddock (TAS), Chinese Laundry (SYD), Groovin The Moo (NSW), Mountain Sounds Festival (NSW), Hard Grime (NSW), Diverge Fest (NSW), and beach clubs in Bali. In 2023, she launched Rhythm At Dusk, an event series dedicated to promoting emerging local talent and national headliners.

In 2024, Marnie’s growth continues with festival spots at Rabbits Eat Lettuce and Splendour in the Grass. She was also featured as an emerging artist on What So Not’s Australian Dance Revival tour.

In the vibrant heart of the mid north coasts music scene Themzy rises as a dynamic force, captivating audiences with their playful onstage antics and original mix of bass driven beats.

Friends since childhood, the two share a long term love of music that influences their unique selection of rumbling heavy bass lines, injections of nostalgia, booty bass moments and a cheeky remix or two. From Bass house, to trap, halftime and dubstep, the pair are always on the hunt for the sexiest, dirtiest bass around.

Known for their energy and ability to get any crowd moving, the two have graced the stages of some of the most esteemed events on Australia’s east coast, including Splendour in the Grass, Earth Frequency, Rabbits Eat lettuce and Bohemian beatfreaks. As well as supporting the likes of Moodswing Chevy Bass, Father Funk, Koan sound and The Sponges. Themzy are also founding members and event organisers for the mid North coasts hottest female focused collective, The Clitoverse.
