Here at The Nail Shop we’ve booked you in for another appointment, this time with an unknown artist, Who goes under the moniker of Maniqin

This record offers up a selection of services and styles that would cater to varying tastes, with the dance floor in mind.

On the top coat (A-Side) the artist takes a simple loop and manages to turn it into 5 minutes of euphoria that will get your entire body moving, whereas the second track soundtracks you leaving our London base salon with everything on point

On the base coat (B-Side) the energy comes down a few notches to a warmer serene state before rounding this record off with a track that will see those freshly preened and polished gel tips curled into a fist in the middle of the dance floor straight through til morning.

This is where our new digital & free sub label comes in.... IN FILLS - We'll be putting out tracks from our friends and family every once in a while, so that you don't get too jaded between releases.

We thought it only right to launch this label with the person who launched our main label, that pesky Speed Boat Character....

Speed Diva was made after an extended time listening to some Street Soul  records in early 2017 on his trip to London. A groover and a shaker for the DJs and dancers who aren't afraid to go at things a bit slower.

2XM - Inept (Vocal Dub)

The Nail Shop is delighted to present their next new signing, Moving Still (aka Jamal Sulaimani), a Dublin based artist from Saudi who debuts on the label with “With Oud.”

An EP of Oud scented Middle Eastern grooves, it kicks off with “Al Disco Haram,” floating a mizmar top line over a 303 bassline, and needless to say, there aren’t too many tracks like this kicking about. Moving into slightly darker territory is “3awiz Tramadol,” rolling out an Ouddy groove built to move! The B-side eases in with the soulful sounds of “Wanneet,” (one for the Habibis and Habibtis), before the EP draws to a weightless close with emotionally tinged title track, “With Oud.”
