Dirk Wiertz is a dj & producer from Amsterdam, combining best of both worlds working in Amsterdams finest recordstore Concerto, making music & collecting records.
After hearing Newcleus’ Computer Age as a kid in the late 80’s he was hooked on electro music at a very young age.
Starting out with a Roland MC303 making electro tracks was all he would do, but soon many more drummachines & synthesizers filled his studio.
Now more inspired by the likes of Drexciya, Anthony Rother and many others he started developing his style and started podcasting monthly mixes with his electro faves.
Lately his track “Texel” was released on LBR records in March this year, delivering a blistering electro cut, followed by his debut EP “Grounded” on Cyberdomain records, released on cassette tape, which gained the support of Dark Science Electro, Jonny Moy and Dave Clarke.
“ It lends the hard-driving bass-lines muscular tension and elastic bounce. Combined with kinetic rhythms and drumbreaks, Wiertz delivers an on-point and low-end driven techno full of thrilling surprises.”

This album builds the sonic foundation onto which I will build to bring emotions and stories from my home studio to your ears.

It's been four years since I started producing and this wouldn't have been possible.
Big thanks to my friends on the discord, my teachers, and everyone who is participating in this journey.
It gives me hope.

KimCosmik started as a DJ for festival sound systems Sprial Tribe and Bedlam. Her first singles were released though her own label Void Records along with fellow band member Blaze and in partnership with Hotmix / Bunker records in Holland. Void was later signed to Matador EMI, releasing three singles. Blaze and Siren (KimCosmik's former moniker) also collaborated with Dj Damage and Dylan at Spectrum Audio (for drum and bass projects). KimCosmik is currently releasing music through her own labels Cybersoul and Torus Sounds on Bandcamp as well as with a variety of labels such as Studio Rockers, Crobot Music, Touched Music, Earthlings and Section 27. KimCosmik DJ's in London and around Europe at events across the dance spectrum
