With Me

Hey friends! 

Kevin Drew here, 1/3 of The Neo Nine. I always thrive to create something awesome through multimedia arts. But I don't want to do it alone. So back in November 2017, I called up two of my best friends. Nix, who grew up in a home that appreciates art, film & music. Then Jona, whom I've always bonded with, with movies, TV shows, games & music. 

We started making video essays about movies on Youtube. We thought it had potential, but 2 problems arose. 1st is logistics. There were a lot about it, but we're not going to get into them. 2nd is this question... are we really happy with what we're doing? The answer is no, its just causing stress than fun. What's the point of doing it, if you're not having fun? So we scrapped everything.

Now what? I asked myself, what's the core in all of my works... Music! And in all of my concept/ideas for future passion projects, music is always the backbone. Why not just make them? Nix is a great singer, Jona has a vast knowledge of the music industry, & I can produce the music.

Now, we've been doing that & it's tons of fun. Plus, instead of just critiquing art, we are now creating art. But we are not creating music/music videos for the sake of making them. We want to tell stories through them. The stories won't be something grand like Inception or Star Wars (maybe someday, when we can afford it). But hopefully, they are stories that you'll enjoy and get something out of.

So that's our story (for now).
