The New Citizen Kane is the new dance music project from Kane Luke. He moved to London in 2009 after leaving Milan's Fuorifase Records with the intention of starting a creative project that would encompass music, fashion and visual arts. Although the main driving force of the project, having conceptualised the idea and written a bulk of the material himself, it is through collaborating with writers, designers, directors and photographers from around the world that he breaths continuously fresh life into the project, merging his ideas with the creative input of his collaborators.
Kane’s career in the entertainment business began aged 17 performing on the Dublin theatre circuit, at 18 he recorded his first EP “Now Or Never” with Active Music in London, and by 20 he was travelling between LA, New York & Milan working as a model & actor. A chance meeting in 2006 with Fuorifase label head Anthony Ricotta @ Milan’s infamous Killer Plastic nightclub would lead to him working as in-house writer for the indie dance label for the next 2 years, until a vocal demo he was preparing for a club track he wrote ended up being used as the final cut. “Don’t Feel No Shame” by DJ Aron VS The Sample Guys ft Kane Luke was an international club hit in 2008, and a favorite by DJs such as Mark Knight, Pete Tong, Dirty South & The Workidz, and featured on Toolroom Knights Compilation after reaching no.6 on the beatport download chart that summer. 2 more collaborations “Nothing/Lump In Your Throat” with Barrique, and “Mind Trip” with Mowree were also released that year, before his solo single “Spun Like Sugar” from the “DiscoKane” EP. The Ara & Becka Vocal of “Spun Like Sugar” was another club hit in Italy & Spain, and he spent the summer touring, with a pit stop at Barcelona's Sonar Music Festival were he pressed the promo-only “Electric Nights” exclusively for the event.
But in a changing market Fuorifase Records was struggling, so Kane decided to take the opportunity to move to London. A new town, new influences, a New Citizen Kane. 
The album "It's Not Science... It's A Feeling" is set for release in summer 2014. First single "White Night", which dropped on November 25th, already causing a stir, it amassed 180,000 views in its first week on YouTube after a string of successful live appearances including sets at Secret Garden Party & Summer Rites festivals in the UK. "You'll Forgive Me" is the next release from the album, available exclusively on Beatport from January 31st with a full club remix package, before official second single "Hearts Aren't Made Of Wood", hypnotic electro-pop single with swirling synths and big hooks, released in spring. Lead single "Remedy", released in July features hot remixes from Rob Made, Super Stylers and Sebastiàn Parbo. 2014 looks set to be a big year for TNCK.
