Evermore darkens the tonality with a lower register which metronomically describes the opening scenes prior to a sonorous almost spoken vocal enters the scene and the whole piece is brought to a higher plane with a military marching snared drum which in its simplicity captures the futility. The Newds are an indie-rock group based in Bolton, Greater Manchester.We are a six-piece who have been together since the turn of the millennium.Our tracks are 'Chasing Shadows and ‘Go Getter’ both written and performed by ourselves as well as producing the official music videos put together for the tracks.
 A lot of our influences are reflected in their music, especially the track ‘Go Getter’. Some of the names they have been inspired by include everyones favourites The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Nivanna, Love, Chuck Berry, the Kinks, Harry Nillson, Space, Scott Walker and The Byrds to name a few.
