Formed in Late 2009, The New Objects are an alt rock band based in Cardiff, UK.  
The band were recently featured in The South Wales Echo’s top tips for 2011 and were described by the paper as ‘this elegant and eloquent four-piece light the blue touch paper to create a carnival of fireworks.  This is rock ’n’ roll with a big-hearted emotional pedigree’.

Their uncompromising sound transitively shifts from infectious and ferocious anthems, to tender and broken lullabies.  This dualistic nature makes watching the band live both an intimate and unforgettable experience.  

The New Objects, comprising of Luke Williams (Vocals/Guitar), Rhys Davies (Guitar), Mat Acreman (Bass) and Guy Martinez (Drums), are currently in the process of releasing their Debut EP, recorded with Richard Jackson (The Automatic, Future of the Left).   
The band spent 2010 tirelessly penning songs in their own studios, only having time to play a few shows in Europe and opening for The Delays and The Bluetones in Cardiff.  However 2011 will see the band playing as many gigs as possible.
