'Rest Easy, Genie' is the second release from Albany Lore, following debut 'The Cynic's Surrender' with a swanky, light-hearted R&B-influenced jam to get back into it.

The title comes from the fact that the lyrics from the hook were inspired by a speech by the late Robin Williams (Genie), delivered as a character from 40 years in the future, in a 1978 stand-up skit of his.
