Retronauts Episode #70: Final Fantasy I

Inspired by the new in-game radio chatter heard at stations. This custom-made hour long track adds a layer of sci-fi ambience to the universe. It evokes an atmosphere of interstellar radio communications, electronic signalling and space static. The volume and frequencies used add a level of ambient immersion, without distracting from or fighting with important in-game sounds and official radio chatter.

Greetings trans-dimensional entities!

As you all can plainly see, a small rift has formed between this dimension, and an unknown location, namely the hidden audio laboratory of visionary glitch wizard, Jim Kimchi. Upon closer inspection, the rift was emanating something that must be music, but it was of such an advanced nature that it was unlike anything this terrestrial world has ever heard.

Jim Kimchi opens the door to a new dimension in glitch music with his Pure Gravy ep. One rife with intentional errors, programmed collapses, and crumbling structures set amidst dissolving holograms. A world in a perpetual state of disintegration, shown to you through many different lenses and angles. Each track seems built from impossibly complex structures, forever locked in a cannibalistic dance of consuming itself to make itself.
