<b>CALLING ALL BUDDING PRODUCERS: </b>

Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment have released 7 short audio snippets from a rehearsal conducted by Sir Simon Rattle of  'La Mer' by French impressionistic composer Debussy whose 150th anniversary it is this year.  These lush orchestral passages have been made available to be cut up, distorted, modulated or indeed tampered with in any way conceivable to create a unique interpretation of the Sea-inspired masterpiece.  

Submitted remixes will be judged first by the OAE office, then a shortlist will be voted on by the public and also by fellow Frenchman and Classical/Electronic specialist 'Chapelier Fou'.

La Mer (Shimmer Until Sunset Remix) - Lucidity Lo-Fi meets the OAE

The Night Shift is London's ground-breaking classical night. We present great live music in a relaxed, informal and contemporary late-night setting, with the classical gig sandwiched between other live music and DJ sets. 

Presenting 4-5 events a year we're mainly based at London's Southbank Centre, with occasional gigs elsewhere in London, including pubs, clubs and a sell-out show at the Roundhouse.
