Finnish duo Terminé announce the release of their unique genre-blending debut 5-track EP, ‘Sideways’, set to drop on 18th December on Finnish label, Youth Control.

The project is the brainchild of the prolific Anton Sonin, accepted as one of Finland’s most established DJ/producers - having had releases with the likes of Anjunabeats, Spinnin’ Records and Universal Music - and sensational singer/songwriter Ben Andreas. Together the pair has created an EP that sits at the intersection of indie-rock and dance music, self-described as “new-wave indie-rock meets the infamous Panorama Bar at Berghain…influenced by the moody and epic atmosphere of french indie music, combined with 4/4 beats of kinda early-morning afterhours somewhere in East Berlin”.

Ahh, Make-out Point on good ole’ Lover’s Lane. So many memories. So many great stories... It’s the truth that The Bearded Man has been (un?)fortunate enough to live through virtually every urban legend known to man, and yes, it’s how they all started. But unlike what most people think, each one of these stories has a pretty chill backstory — nothing horrific or frightening about them. Hook hands guy scrapes the side of the car door, leaving his hook in the door when they go to check later? Yep! It happened! Only thing was, this wasn’t a killer… it was just one of TBM’s friends with a disability trying to grab a beverage from the cooler in the car. Nothing sinister. Or what about the time The Bearded Man left his girl behind in the car while he went to check out a strange noise? He didn’t return, but she heard the gentle scrape of what she *thought* was the shoes of his hanging body swinging over the car. Yes, that part is true, but he wasn’t dying or dead. He was just swinging from a hammock he set up above the car, and he fell asleep because it was late at night. Another ghost story debunked. Nowadays kids are so easily scared by horror stories, but The Bearded Man would like to remind you all that when it comes to teenage love/lust/crushes, things are always going to be pretty chill 90% of the time, the rest is just inside your own head. That knowledge right there will let smoking hot peeps like Emma Carn know you have Bad Boy Genes after all.

Throughout the months I worked on Savage Hills Ballroom, I became possessed by a concept. If we had the ability to accept our blemishes, seeing that it's our fuck ups & flaws that make us distinct & force us to advance as individuals & as a society, we could start understanding each other. The world swims in judgement. It makes us feel good to think someone else is worse than us. We're born into this mindset - & much of it is rooted in self-loathing rather than merely learning from our weaknesses. We bury who we really are because we don't think anyone will accept us. SHB is grounded in satire. It is a microcosm of a perfect society, decorated in gold & elegance to serve as a mockery of how we present ourselves to those around us. I wrote I've Seen as a farewell song to this ballroom..just gonna stay a while longer. See you outside. +++ WASTING 4 U +++

Youth Lagoon - I've Seen

The Noise Revival Orchestra is an orchestral indie collective based in Austin, Texas. Formed in 2004 as a 4 piece by Nathan Felix, The Noise Revival Orchestra has grown to a 13 to 17 piece orchestra. TNRO toured China in 2012 and reformed in 2014 to tour Japan, Mongolia and Taiwan. 

In 2008, the band was featured on mtvU Ahead of the Curve. In 2009, The Noise Revival's "Days n Daze" was used in the PSA video for Institute for Democratic Education in America.

The Noise Revival Orchestra released Songs of Forgiveness in the spring of 2011 and subsequently toured Denmark, Iceland, & the Faroe Islands to support it.
