"മത്തായിക്ക് വെറും മൈ**" എന്ന പ്രയോഗം നമ്മൾ മലയാളികൾക്ക് പുതിയതല്ല . എന്റെ പുതിയ പാട്ടിന്റെ ആശയവും അത് തന്നെയാണ് . നമ്മുടെ ജീവിതത്തിൽ നമ്മൾ പലരെയും കാണും , പരിചയപെടും , ചിലർ കൂട്ടുകാരാകും എന്നാൽ ചിലരോ കൂട്ടുകാരെ പോലെ . ജനിച്ച നാൾ മുതൽ നമ്മൾ ഒരു ഓട്ടത്തിലാണ് , എന്തിനോ വേണ്ടി തിളയ്ക്കുന്ന സാംബാർ പോലെ. കുറ്റംപറയാൻ പറ്റില്ല നമ്മൾ മലയാളികളാണ്, കുടുംബം നോക്കി കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടേ നമ്മൾ അവനവന്റെ സ്വപ്നങ്ങൾക്കു വില കൽപിക്കാറുള്ളു . എന്നാൽ സ്വപ്നങ്ങൾക്കു പുറകിൽ പോകാൻ ഒരുങ്ങുമ്പോൾ ചിലർ നമ്മളിലേ ആത്മവിശ്വാസത്തെ മുറിവേല്പിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കും, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് പണി ഒന്നും ഇല്ലാത്തതു കൊണ്ടോ , സർവ ഗുണ സമ്പന്നരായതു കൊണ്ടോ, സ്വന്തമായി സ്വപ്നങ്ങളില്ലാത്തതു കൊണ്ടോ, സ്വന്തം സ്വപ്നങ്ങളിൽ വിശ്വാസമില്ലാത്തതുകൊണ്ടോ, സ്വയമേ ഭൂമിക്കു ഭാരം ആയതു കൊണ്ടോ ആയിരിക്കാം , ഇവർക്കു നിരുത്സാഹപ്പെടുത്താനുള്ള കഴിവ് നന്നായുണ്ടാകും . ഇങ്ങനെ ഉള്ള ആൾക്കാരെ ഞാൻ എന്റെ പാട്ടീൽ "മൈനാ" എന്ന് വിശേഷിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട് . ഇവർക്കു വേണ്ടി നമ്മൾ നമ്മുടെ ബ്ലഡ് പ്രഷർ കൂട്ടണ്ട കാര്യമില്ല, സ്വന്തം സ്വപ്നത്തിൽ വിശ്വസിക്കുക, പറ്റുന്ന പോലെയൊക്കെ ശ്രമിക്കുക, നെഗറ്റീവ് ആകാതെ, ഈ പാട്ടു പോലെ, ചിരിച്ചു-കളിച്ചു, നമ്മൾക്ക് നമ്മുടെ സ്വപ്നങ്ങളുടെ പുറകെ പറക്കാം "
