Those Days Are Gone – A journey to our childhood, when all we had was each other.
A time when life felt so simple, filled with laughter, endless play, and moments that seemed to last forever. 
I am inviting you to listen to my own composition "Those Days Are Gone". 
I hope this ambient piano piece will take you on a nostalgic journey back to childhood, evoking memories of a time before technology took over.

I notice a shift in my focus as I play, particularly through the second and third miniatures. 
I - is comfortably focused and in control
II - my attention drops (this miniature is usually the most vulnerable/wobbly)
III - better but still feels like it is grappling
IV - secure but has to be mindfully so
V - similar to I
VI - make the most of this last miniature 

I begin a meditation and it feels determined and secure with strong intentions. But it is not long before this becomes 'I am meditating' and things seems to lose their focus or energy, and I become distracted. I then spend some time recovering from that distraction and finally return to a similar sense of focus that I had at the start. This can all happen within seconds, sometimes minutes.
