What does he want? Where does he hail from? Why is he singing in another language? All great questions for the amnesiac puzzle of a man. In early 2019, Theo hit his head in an accident. He believes he was in Australia on business, but is unable to remember his origins, and his purpose. What he does remember are bits of other languages, and songs that he wrote (he thinks). 

Theo Lopea combines the lo-fi rock energy of the early 2000's garage mavericks like The Strokes and Arctic Monkeys, with the vocal stylings and songwriting of old-time artists such as Elton John, and Carole King.

Over the course of 2020, Theo Lopea has taken the time to reflect and greatly hone his sound, culminating in the release of his debut full-length 'International Man of Mystique'.

He might not remember who he is. He may be completely clueless as to how he ended up wandering the globe. Nor can he explain his inexplicable - and, honestly, bizarre - obsession with music boxes. But Theo Lopea has realised only music can help him unveil his true identity, and he wants to share that journey with you.
