For the 19th EP on Heimlich Musik, Cologne-based producer @darioklein delivers three gloomy bangers accompanied by remix contributions from JOIA, Samaha, Daniel Jaeger, Kapoor and Matija. Inspired by the unique vibe of the streets of Marrakech and based on live jams, the Djeema el Fna EP tells a story of music as a concept beyond consciousness. Built around melodic lead synths and broken drums, dark basslines contribute to the mesmerizing aesthetic of the original mi- xes. JOIA’s interpretation of the title track puts on additional pressure with bass frequencies going right under your skin, while Samaha transforms Djeema el Fna into a euphoric hymn tailored for early morning hours.

With an almost criminal bassline, Daniel Jaeger’s version of Rahmos is a housey floor killer. Kapoor’s remix sticks to the vibe of the original but adds a psychedelic touch using hypnotic arpeggios. Rounding up a diverse set of remixes, Matjia’s version of Rahmos is a dreamy composition with a touch of optimism garnished by organic percussions.

The latest EP on Heimlich Musik is painting a colorful picture of downtempo ran- ging from smooth grooves over melodic tech to cutting-edge industrial bleeps.

About the EP-*
Once or twice a year, typically after it rains, flamingos gather in a large crowd and start to rave. In a ritualistic shimmy to find mates, they spin their necks side to side, tapping their toes, puttering left and right, and moving together as one adorable pink platoon. Like humans, they even preen before the big dance, using their beaks to apply “makeup” (pigment secreted from their posteriors) to make their feathers extra bright.
The artist recorded the oud and Bansuri flute for the track when he was high on shrooms 😉

Kermesse have been a regular feature of The Magic Movement after dropping their debut album on the label in 2018. The Limbo EP is the duo’s sixth release on the imprint. They have also featured their spellbinding style of stripped-back organic house on other highly respected record labels such as Sol Selectas, Bar 25 Music, Stil Vor Talent and LNDKHN.

“On The Road” is just as groovy, with a rippling modulating bassline featuring acid undertones and a deep melody washed in reverb to give it a dreamscape atmosphere.

“Limbo” opens with a plodding bassline and crisp percussion sequenced into shuffling rhythms which form the foundation for the track's trippy vocals and intricate melody.

“Melting” creates a bewitching feeling, psychedelic lyrics and a gleeful melody fill the track with heart-warming energy. Arguably saving the best until last, this is a standout track that will move mind, body and soul.

“Wawanko” is an upbeat and jovial track with lots of atmospheric textures and an uplifting melody that fills the track with feel-good vibes, while the percussion provides a dance floor focused groove.

You're not here anymore – you're in a world crafted by the mind and creativity of two ingenious producers. Meet the new kids on the block: for the first time, Antos and Magupi are joining forces and releasing dreams in the shape of music. But, then again, they're not actually kids.

In 2020, acclaimed producer and Portuguese legend DJ Vibe created a new name to present a new vision. As Antos – a fresh alias that departs from his real name, António, joined by the prefix Anthos, derived from the Ancient Greek, meaning "flower" – he explores different aspects of his imagination, allowing himself to more psychedelic moves, to even more mesmerizing rhythms. It was also as Antos that he signed a remix for "O Ritual", a track by Magupi, Márcio Pinto's adventure that portrays his fascination with exotic and tribal rhythms. Percussion has been guiding Pinto's musical path, so it comes without surprise that the African pace or the Eastern moods also compass his alter ego. Two exquisite musicians with two different experiences realized they had something in common: a fascination for a sound equivalent to a dreamlike travel, exotic, warm, colorful. They got together in studio, shared thoughts and music – and, on the way, created something remarkable.

Where "Ayat" is chilled, with a gentle beat and grand lingering voices, almost as a universal hymn, "Sahara" shows a mysterious atmosphere, propelled by sitar sounds, sinuous and oscillating, always evolving has if music could embrace you – in fact, everything about this collaboration is embracing. The two experienced men embraced their original visions and allowed them to go even further. The two experienced producers embraced their will to look at diverse landscapes. They may be experienced but, together, they present a curiosity that can only show up when you're truly in love with what you're doing. "Ayat" and "Sahara" may be the first signs of this new tour de force but falling in love with their love is inevitable. And there's already proof of this: with the remix signed by Tó Ricciardi, "Sahara" becomes rounder and hypnotizing; Ohxala leave their fingerprint on a new approach to "Ayat", where the beat gets even deeper and the chase more profound.

Close your eyes. Open your soul. Release your body's strains. Feel the warmth. Look at the colors. Undulate your imagination. Here, there are no limits or borders. Antos & Magupi may have created it but now this might become your new religion. Feel free to pray.

The word ‘Odd’ has many connotations but fits perfectly when describing the sound of Melbourne producer and performer Warwick Ferguson through his genre bending project The Oddness.
Sitting at the forefront of the Downtempo / Organic house scene in Australia, the last 3 years has seen him perform at Australia’s premium festivals including Rainbow Serpent, Esoteric, Elements and Let Them Eat Cake, both as a solo act and with his 3-piece band including multi-instrumentalists Dylan Jarrad and Timmus.
A prolific output of music, including three Albums, have been released through labels including Sol Selectas, Beat & Path and Eskimo Recordings. As well as his original music he is widely know for his re-interpretations of classic tracks though his ‘Reworks, Edits and Bootlegs’ series. 
2022 has seen his production lead to the world of television with multiple works used in advertising projects and is currently working on the soundtrack for a TV series in production.
After a busy Australian summer lead by the revitalised festival scene, He is currently working on booking European shows for August / September.
