In the Modesto area, Theodore Stone has performed many times with with the Gottschalk’s Music Center Concert Band. These performances include solo works, including the first movements to both the Hummel and Hayden Trumpet Concertos. He has also performed in Carnegie Hall for the New York Wind Band Festival in 2011 with the band. He has also received many freelance jobs playing in pit orchestras for both MPA and Yes Company. He has received a command performance — the highest honor— from a CMEA Solo/Ensemble festival on the 1st Movement of the Hayden Trumpet Concerto. He also played as co-principal trumpet for the Modesto Symphony Youth Orchestra. He is currently studying become a  trumpeter at the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music.
