Don't Make The Call

The Offbeat is a four-piece of fresh alternative pop - four vocals, tight percussive rhythms, violin and skilled acoustic guitar. The 2012 release of the debut album We Are The Offbeat marked the band’s progression into more experimental, alternative music. Now the use of a loop pedal, stompbox and synth onstage give the performance a marked, distinctive feel. The band’s nostalgic songs, ‘sun-filled’ tunes and fresh vitality create a unique show which has been enjoyed by audiences across the UK. This unique group has received nationwide recognition in being shortlisted for the PRS for Music Songwriting and Composition Awards, in association with the BRITS, and their music has been described as ‘truly heart-warming and uplifting.’ Radio appearances and street performances also demonstrate the band’s open approach to music-making.  The Offbeat will be appearing in London and other major UK cities in Winter 2013 following the launch of their upcoming EP.
