I think a big part of music for me, is referencing youth and nostalgia, and Drifting Away plays on that idea of getting lost in your own world and doing your own thing. The mindset when we’re young is that we can take chances all the time, and as we get older sometimes this idea fades. I hate that feeling, but i think we’re all guilty of it. After doing something for awhile, sometimes we need to stop for a moment and think about why we started doing it in the first place. This song is about wanting to get back to that mindset, to push outside your comfort zone, surrender yourself to the unknown. Embrace what makes you original and challenge yourself, it’s the only way to get better. Drift into your own world and embrace it.

Few may know, but You Keep Me Waiting was actually the original theme song for Seinfeld. Unfortunately, after Kramer heard it for the first time....he went on a giant Coke bender, started running around NBC studios naked screaming "Cocaine is a hell of a drug, and this track is a hell of a bomb!! One more line for Bender! Long story short, NBC stripped the song from broadcast for liability fears. You Keep Me Waiting, was then taken to Jonathan Wolff (Seinfeld Theme Writer) who rewrote the theme song in a more wholesome, family friendly manner. A California judge also declared a federal order against the release of this record, but after 25 years, the statue of limitation has passed...legally allowing us to make this record public. Oh and since im only 24, its probably worth mentioning that I created this track while living in my father's bean bag waiting to be conceived.
