Sync Forward's 53rd release is here with the return of label owners Remotion, with their latest EP 'Neptune', including two original tracks and remixes by Yeröm and ODDR.

First is Neptune, a dark and ominous track with a driving arpeggio and a powerful breakdown featuring a neuro growl and off-beat LFO synth, showcasing a more sinister side of the Portuguese duo.

Next up is Danger, a progressive and energetic piece with a rolling bass and tight minimal beat with intricate percussion layers, wrapping up with a straightforward synth work, driving home this vibrant track.

Neptune's Remix comes from Belgian producer Yeröm, that presented us with a darker interpretation of the original with its echoing synths and a flawlessly produced breakdown, aiming for the darker dance floors.

Closing down the EP is ODDR's Remix of Danger, with a mesmerizing breakdown surfacing a more melodic side to the original track, featuring an 80's synth sound complementing the original track's synths.

Shiha came to our attention when he submitted his demo track during a live A&R session on Twitch. A first version of 'Lucid Dream 1' was actually the song he submitted, and after some back and forth the final version is here in front of you. A warm moody piece of deep house music.

'Lucid Dream 2' has got a proper upbeat bounce to it without losing sight of the deepness. Moody yet uplifting this one. Beautiful tune!

On remix duties we welcome back 3Kilo to the label and when we asked them if they'd be up for remixing one of the Lucid Dreams they simply replied 'why not both?', so here we are with two proper stripped down grooves.

'Master Chef Music's latest serving is a bumper collection of tracks from label founder Brian Johnson with remixes from Kenny Glasgow and Pheek.

Born in Toronto to parents of Jamaican descent, Brian Johnson worked his way up the local scene and was soon hosting and headlining parties and even running his own recording facility. He has since produced, recorded, mixed and mastered thousands of tracks for artists such as Mos Def, Barrington Levy and Drake. His own music is a personal mix of deep house, dub and techno with a new and distinctive edge, as showcased on the essential tracks on this new EP.

On remix duties is Pheek, the Montreal producer who runs Archipel Musique and is known for his originality in minimal techno. He expertly remixes 'State Property' into a deep, late-night and atmospheric roller with sci-fi pads and silky hi-hats.

Impending (Gui Buanton Remix)

The second release on hydera is from electronic pioneer Thomas Gandey.

‘We Survive’ follows on from the Beatport #1 ‘Cultum’ by Mia Mendi and Thomas Gandey which set the label off on a hit opening.

This solo release from the enigmatic producer evokes a futurists take on the new world’s dancefloors - a mysterious yet warming dystopian tale ‘We Survive’ was initially conceived as a live studio video and has developed into somewhat of an anthem, already having been performed and perfected live by Thomas around the globe.

To complement the Original Mix, Gandey also offers a Club Mix which carries the torch deeper for peak time listening. The release draws to a close with a twisted psychedelic break remix from Innervisions stalwart Alex Medina.

Brazilian artist Kommodo drops his melodic vocal track 'Breath' with remixes from Nairo & Binaryh

The talented producer has been a well-known entity within the scene and have graced some of the world's finest electronic music labels with releases in the past on Timeless Moment, Warung Recordings & Steyoyoke.

'Breath' carries a deep driving rhythm through the track whilst introducing expansive synth chords before the atmospheric pads and vocals take over to create a beautiful uplifting break.

On remix duties we welcome Nairo back to Somatic as he strips back the layers of melodies and effects, and 'ups' the flow with a cleverly programmed groove along with his trademark FX elements, without destroying the essence of the original.

Making their debut we have the incredible Binaryh.
The duo have crafted a remix that starts off with a chugging, progressive-led groove thats builds and builds making tensions grow before a brief respite occurs midway as delicate keys add a note of relief with an epic pad, before being swept aside for more gritty bass pressure.

It all began during the nineties when Mikael was attending electronic underground parties in the city of Gothenburg. There the never-ending passion for electronic music was started.
During collage years Mikael Dj:ed and also tried to start up an Progressive House club in Kalmar called Safari - Underbar. The project failed but he learned a lot in the process.
Nowadays Mikael is Dj:ing spontainusly on own and friendly events and recently even started developing his own music. The future will tell where it all will end but it will start right here and now!
