It was created sometime around the 1890's. 
The legendary 'Jelly Roll Morton' performed 
it later in the early 19th century. 
It has been covered by many great artists,
and it is a jazz standard. 
I did my 'Jelly Roll' version of it. It was a very difficult piece to play, especially the piano solo. 

However, after many hrs of practice, I was able 
to pull it off. Ha."

Buddy Bolden's 'Stinky Butt Blues'

The is an early 1929  jazz standard by Fats Waller. Fats Waller is my favorite composer of all time. Although he past away at 39 years old in 1943, he is still like a teacher to me. I have been learning from him for quite some time now. Practically everything I do on a piano comes from him I think.

My version of this classic kinda brings it up to today's time period. Although I play the piano in the song exactly how it is played by Fats Waller with a very complex and difficult 'Stride' Piano style of which I am still a student of. I love early jazz piano!!!!

I am playing all the instruments and the singing too. Everything is performed by me. I put a 'Reggae' twist into it with a floating bubbly keyboard. The rest is kinda basic: Drums & Bass.

This song is so funny. I had a ball doing it although it was quite a finger-buster to master and play on the piano, I was able to pull it off after many hours of practicing. 

This is another early jazz standard by Hoagy Carmichael. I am doing the Fats Waller version of it. Again, bringing it up to today's time period. 

Every instrument is performed by me, including the hilarious singing. I find this song to be a timeless classic.  A masterpiece. 

I love to play songs from the early 19th century up to the 50's in jazz. Like Monk etc.

Crossin' Lines

This song says it all: It talks about life in general and trying to overcome unsurmountable odds to obtain greatness and wisdom.  

It actually came together very fast. The music and the story. I feel that this is probably one of the best roaring waves songs written. I have countless songs completed. Literally. It would take you weeks to hear them all. But, this one I really like. It just won't die on me.

The Water's Rising

Composer. Multi-instrumentalist. I love all genres of music basically. Don't really have a favorite. I like the music of Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Waller, and the newer stuff is cool too. 

I like to compose just about anything that fits the bill. Doing what I do for a living is so much fun. I am so grateful to be able to do what I always wanted to do in my life ever since I was I kid, play and master music. Nobody I knew ever really understood it, but I did.
