Theo Gramal (@theogramal) is the musical project of Leipzig based nature’s child Luca, artist and creator of our today‘s podcast # 062. 
We’re happy to share with you his very first live set - a warm coloured mosaic he has designed in his studio in collaboration with friends, containing exclusively his own productions.
When Luca learned to make music and express moods and feeling through it in his early 20s, a whole new world opened up for him, quickly getting addicted to creating those fluffy and energetic vibes we know him for.
With warm and deep baselines, melodious grooves with oriental touches and playful patterns, his sound makes you wander through imaginary worlds of warmth and mystery. 
To follow Theo Gramal’s idea of a bird as an inner spirit animal, a symbol of lightness and freedom, we invite you to get up, feel light like a flying creature, move and forget about gravity, just flow and enjoy the rhythms with us. ❤️

Found his self riding intergalactical instruments, driven by swing, touched by the mysterious. Transforming inner visions to the realm of daydreamers and sleepwalkers. Lost in the woods, barefoot but nailpolished. Shiny but with the perfect amount of dust.

Step back in time to an era where giants roamed the earth and tales of midgets were passed down from generation to generation. This musical composition, titled "Giants," takes us on a journey through our imagination and explores the idea that what we call magic may simply be something beyond our comprehension. Driven by mystery and brought to life with the use of a Moog synthesizer, this soundtrack is a nostalgic nod to the stories of old and a reminder of the power of the human imagination.

The color palette was accomplished by the smoky voice of my friend Micka, which we recorded my little studio here in Leipzig.

We are thrilled to announce Allies For Everyone as part of our upcoming release. Known for his past work in faster-paced genres and successful releases on labels like Dantze and Bar25, it's nice to have such a gifted producer trying on some slower vibes.

His two tracks, with their richly varied, dreamlike melodies and atmospheres, are brilliantly complemented by captivating reinterpretations from Theo Gramal, Roze and Ykonosh & Don Jongle, that match the originals in quality and creativity.

It's a pleasure to have Allies For Everyone join our label, and we look forward to more collaborations. The release is further enriched by Kilian Van de Water's artwork, which visually interprets the EP's title, and the overall sound has been finely tuned by Haunted Water.

Influenced by the pulsating beats of the underground, Theo Gramal crafts his own blend of electronic music that is both slower in tempo yet undeniably driving. His music possesses a certain melancholic allure, effortlessly tugging at the heartstrings while simultaneously igniting a fire within.

Ecstatic bounce - this is what the Leipzig based Artist would describe either his own productions or the sonic journeys through the depths of emotion.  

As time reveals new musical chapters, his music became more and more impulsive and dancefloor oriented, willing to make people move and shut their brain off for some moments. 

In this episode of the journey series episode you can hear some extracts of a more bouncy version of himself, experimenting with little faster bpms, but trying to retain his love for deep and melodic music.

I hope you will enjoy this episode as much as I did!

this is the next gift I wanted to share with you, because it was also a gift to me, to produce this track. it is the result of travelling through time and space. so luckily i met nasos in greece and we recorded the chinese flute together in a beautiful surrounding. several month after i met the lovely sito reno on my way in goa to record the native american flute. respect to the musicians.

Fatoumata Diawara sings mostly in Bambara, a language spoken in Mali. 
"Nterini" translates to "my love/confidant" and depict a man traveling alone, presumably migrating, as his family back home anxiously go about their lives. It shows a snippet of an immigrant's journey without a sense of resolution.

This edit was meant to be spreading the love of her music and the message behind it. The intention was to translate the original version to slower, electronic driven dancefloors and hearts. Enjoy.
