[Deltarune Fan-Track - Phantom Rose] KEY OF FREEDOM

-Backstory-
Healia was born into a world without parents or any parental figures. All she had was the power of a shadow crystal to help her survive. Growing up without the concept of what a child means to a mother, she carried this emptiness into adulthood, where she learned that money was the key to respect, survival, and enjoyment in life. She became a fraudulent nurse, sneaking into hospitals to steal patients' souls and sell them to a mysterious buyer. For reasons unknown, she managed to evade capture, but her greed only grew. She started viewing children as mere vessels for creating more Darknker souls, which meant more cash in her pocket. With this twisted mindset, she began  have numerous children, each life ending at her hands as she harvested their souls for profit. It's unclear just how many children she had, but given her wealth, it's probably better not to find out.

-Presence story-
Rose's journey continues in the hospital world. You and Rose are on the hunt for any clues about the baby that was taken from Phantom's love. While searching, you encounter a nurse who looks strikingly like Phantom or at least his wife, who Rose remembers as "Rosalina." The two of you decide to follow this nurse, who starts acting strangely. Dressed in scrubs, she seems to be wandering aimlessly, almost as if he’s lost—definitely odd behavior for a nurse who should know her way around the hospital.
Eventually, she confronts you and introduces herself as Healia. She notices you’ve been watching her and asks what you want. But when she sees Rose, her demeanor changes completely. She calls Rose "My baby" and behaves like a mother who’s just spotted her long-lost child, which freaks Rose out since he has no memory of her.
With a frown, Healia tells you both to follow her to the Emergency chamber, which is her fancy term for a basement where she claims she can reveal the truth Rose is seeking. Once you arrive in the dimly lit basement, you discover a hidden entrance behind a bookshelf that leads to a rusty, unnamed area.
Inside, you find numerous newspaper clippings about missing patients, mostly newborns. Soon after, you encounter Healia again, this time cradling a newborn she refers to as "her baby." She starts rambling about how beautiful children are and what they mean to her, but it quickly becomes clear that to her, they’re just a source of profit. Rose grows increasingly suspicious, but the real shock comes when she reveals the brutal truth: Rose is HER child. For years, she’s had many children, all meeting the same grim fate of having their souls taken and sold to a specific buyer. All except for Rose. The only reason he’s still alive is because his "father" saved him from this nightmare. This child she is currently holding is another of Rose's siblings.
Rose couldn’t wrap his head around the truth; he just couldn’t believe he came from someone like her. With his rapier raised, he demanded that she release the baby. Healia laughed maniacally, daring them to try and stop her. After all, she had led them right to her lair because she intended to steal Rose's soul and the Lightner's soul. With a Lightner's soul, she’d be the wealthiest of them all. And so, the fight kicked off, with Healia battling Rose while he clutched the baby.
During the chaos, Healia lost her sight and accidentally crashed into a hospital window, plummeting to the street below and meeting her end. Fortunately, the baby was unharmed. Rose gently took the child from her, pondering his own existence. He had come searching for Phantom's child, only to discover phantom's child was actually his mother, she had countless children. Some of them would be as lucky as him and this little one. But first, he needed to track down the man who set everything in motion—the one who had killed Rosalina.

I didn't get an response for 10 days, so I stopped thinking about this project, until now.
Apparently the account was deleted because it got mistakenly marked as spam? Weird.
