The Limited Series reaches it’s 10th release milestone with another 5 track compilation from some of our favourite artists at the moment. BPLS010 is a collection of leftfield UK Techno and broken beats for the dancefloor.

The opening track comes from Bristol based Yushh, head at the Pressure Dome Label, with “Fidget Spanner” featuring a hypnotic garage vocal looped over steppy techno drums, followed by Kincaid on the A2, who returns to the label after his latest split EP “Single Cell” on BP016, this time working with vocalist J. Caesar on the deep spoken word trip of “Inside”.

Tristan Arp, one half of the Asa Tone project, also returns after his solo EP “Slip” on BP012 in 2020, with “Circling The Abyss” with a refreshing use of the Cello laid expertly on polyrhythmic drum patterns. PinballSpider makes their label debut with a warm and stripped back minimal ear worm on “In One Ear”, while Johnny Hunter, Pleasure Club Label favourite, closes things off with the drum heavy percussion of “89’ Brakes”. Originally released on Volume and Tension in 1994, the 'Duster' EP was one of only two releases Toby Warren completed under the Hi Tech Criminal moniker, it has since gone on to become a rare gem of a record that swaps hands for princely sums. Klasse Wrecks is very pleased to announce the re-issue of the original tracks on vinyl and digital and happy to announce an exclusive-never-heard-before mix of the title track. The 4 tracker harks back to a period in time when creativity and originality was at an all time high in dance music. The tracks on the 'Duster' EP defy categorization, part bouncing House, part progressive and driving Techno...all good.

Long out of press, Helium’s seminal 1993 masterpiece ’The Works’ E.P. eventually sees the light of day again on Kalahari Oyster Cult. A head-turning slab of visionary house and trance music, ’The Works’ hasn’t aged one bit and its dancefloor appeal sure hasn’t lost any of its high-impact melodic beauty. 

3 unreleased mixes that have nothing to envy to the originals have been unearthed: If ’Try Me (More Mix)’ does exactly what’s written on the tin, i.e. expanding the scope to further spacious, ambient-informed horizons, ‘Clouds (Captain’s Mix)’ opts for a more abstract, ASMR-like rendition, while ‘Out There (Jody’s Mix)’ reels out as a proper hypnotic, sense-awakening comber that’ll send off dancers straight into a blissed-out daze.

Helium’s classic is now back in fully remastered shape (OYSTER20.1) and supplemented by a triplet of unreleased remixes (OYSTER20.2), available both independently and as a bundle 2x12" pack (OYSTER20) exclusively via One Eye Witness and Bandcamp.
