The small boat bobbed on the water, looking for a place to dock before dawn broke. The two brothers scanned the shore before honing in on a derelict cove shrouded in darkness. They couldn't be caught, they had travelled for too long to risk their cover being blown. As they moored up and stepped on to solid ground, they gazed up at the famous skyline before them; a sight they had only ever seen before in books and paintings. This would be their new home; a place where they could make their names known. The unsuspecting city had no idea what they were in for...

Lithuanian-based producer Pletnev returns to local label Le Temps Perdu for his second EP, following his 2017 debut with 'St. Bones'. His diverse productions have taken him to labels like SZE, Fleeting Wax, Meda Fury and Hard Fist, with sounds spanning percussive tools to EBM and leftfield cuts. His forthcoming EP, 'Voranto Bros', features blinding remixes from CockTail d'Amore bosses Discodromo and Biologic Records' Lion's Drums.

As the King Cobra uncoils from a woven basket and flares out its iconic hood, it appears to sway back and forth hypnotically as the snake charmer plays his flute. Timpani solos, a variety of percussion, syncopated rhythms and colorful harmonies are woven together to create an exotic tapestry of sound that will captivate young musicians and their audiences. Puma & The Dolphin releases their first EP and it is massive. Our pick up is a B1 track -  "Cobra Dance".
Taking a similar yet slightly different aproach to the post-punk sound of previous tracks, this tune features a catchy bassline and groovy percussion, alternating between vocal samples, melodic elements, and rhythmic phrases. Back in 2017, Basso delved into his micro-press cassette collection to treat us to the first retrospective of kosmische wizard Trance. Spanning both the bucolic and galactic, 'Tapes' (GBR010) suspended time and space, enveloping us in the nebulous beauty of Jürgen Petersen's misty ambience. Among the appreciative audience for this mind expanding release was one JD Twitch aka Keith McIvor, one half of the mighty Optimo. Keith's vision of remixing Jurgen's 'Purification' for the club was embraced by both the artist and the label guy with glowing eyes. Charting a course through progressive house, ambient techno and the weirder bits of the solar system, McIvor combines the celestial synthesis of the original with some tough and tracky drum programming, turning the intensity up to 11 in pursuit of early morning ascension. A sensitive arrangement allows space for Peterson's waveforms to work their magic, while laser fire and additional fx abuse unlock evolutionary abilities buried deep in your unconscious mind. The previously unreleased, largely unheard 'Contemplation' was originally intended to feature on the 'Tapes' compilation, but fell off the edge of that flat Earth thanks to its maximal runtime. Too good to remain a secret, this crepuscular creation enjoys the entirety of the B-side, drifting through the eons via meditative electronics, delicate sitar and a touch of tapey flutter. Embrace the almost 40 year old tape's flaws and imperfections that could not be restorated and dive into the immersive and unparalleled. This is music for higher beings.

ALF CHAMPION is a DJ, Producer and Visual Artist born and raised in Guadalajara, Mexico. Almost everyone who hears about him thinks his name is a dumb made-up name… but actually that is his real name.

ALF says -

This material was the result of severals months of work. The first track I did was “Lucidus Somnia”, and it’s about the mystery of lucid dreams. It took me several days to conclude this song, experimenting with different capture methods. The second track I did was “Raptum” which is a bit more aggressive and tells the story of an alien abduction in a fun way. The last track “Frigus Frigus” is a bit more romantic, slow and friendly, and I did it to counteract the intensity of the first two tracks.

Dark green leaves and sprawling branches formed a canopy over the water, protecting this natural place from prying eyes. It felt peaceful, a place for escaping the stresses of city life. In fact, this river held many secrets, stories that would make your hair stand on end. Its beauty was simply a facade...

Next up on XXX, the Dutch label run by DJ and producr SHMLSS, is good friend and Bordello A Parigi alumni Stijn Sadée. After two contributions to earlier releases for the label, he's now set to release his first original EP on the label, which features a remix from Smala boss Manfredas that they locked in after the Lithuanian producer saw Stijn play live last year. The aesthetics of the label are down to Stijn's brother Thomas who worked closely with him to create something that fitted with the music and his influences.

Callousness and strength are the companions of death. Weakness and flexibility - express the freshness of being. Therefore, what is hardened, couldn't win. 
Berlin's Malka Tuti celebrating 5 years of of existence and on this occasion releases this wonderful compilation, in our turn we were instructed to premiere this unreleased version by Gordon Pohl to Die Orangen’s Mersey River. The original track was released on their sold out debut LP on Malka Tuti. The LP was followed by a remix pack Saft 1 in 2018, hosting an epic 16 minute version by Gordon Pohl on the B Side. According to MT the label always wanted to find a way to release this version as well, but they were waiting for the right moment. Clearly a 5 year celebration was enough to do the trick.

He released a new EP Le Flâneur Spatial on vinyl 12'  on Aspecto Humano and a new track on @waste-editions Waste Editions, both spanish labels,  distribuited by Bordello a Parigi. it's a fantastic EP.... with so much power and Electro breaks!
