Andras & Oscar return with 'Temperature of Love', their first single since cult albums Embassy Cafe and Cafe Romantica almost a decade ago. 'Temperature' takes it back to the start; a 909, a microphone and an echo machine rolling along under Oscar Key Sung's improvised vocals. 

“Oscar and I rescued a knock-off 909 from a pawn-shop and shot back to our studio in Maldon. We wiped off the dust, plugged in a microphone and red-lined the digi-delay. What you hear is that raw recording - 4 mono channels of pure energy, a celebration of dancing, love and friendship.” - Andras

Space Ghost slows the energy down to a cosmic crawl and leans into his love of UK Street Soul. The result is, as predicted, something quite special.

Berlin-based DJ and producer Moomin (Sebastian Genz) makes his highly anticipated return with Into The Distance, a deeply immersive new album set for release on March 28. 

The 10-track LP expands on his signature sound—luxuriating in warm textures, subtly toying with shifting tones, and teasing out compositions of understated complexity. A record built on deep, meditative grooves, Into The Distance invites listeners to get lost in its hypnotic flow.

In the wake of his 2011 breakout debut The Story About You, Moomin was praised for the “resplendent naturalism” within his “beautiful, introspective take on house music”. He had cast a spell of “modern house music magic”, crafting a sound “you can listen to anytime, anywhere”. The acclaim was universal, yet Moomin remains humble, describing himself simply as “a music-lover”. Since that unmissable debut, he has further defined his unique inner-world sound through releases on kindred spirit imprints Smallville, WOLF Music, OATH, and Aim, while also launching his own vinyl and tape label, Closer, a passion project that perfectly matches the tactile and intimate nature of his productions.

Now, with Into The Distance, those unmistakable Moomin signatures are taken even further. Tracks like Joni and A Way Out pulse with understated energy, while Caught In A Memory and Night Moves evoke a dreamy nostalgia. The album moves between deep house, downtempo, and ambient influences, creating a rich, cinematic listening experience. From the hypnotic rhythms of Island Dreams to the drifting melancholy of Summer’s End, Moomin explores movement, both physical and emotional, through sound.

After years of performing at some of the world’s most influential clubs and festivals, Moomin made the decision to step away from live shows. Since 2019, he has successfully run his own mastering studio, continuing to pursue his deep love of music and technology. Into The Distance is a reflection of this period—an album that feels deeply considered yet effortlessly fluid, designed for both introspective moments and expansive journeys.


A1. Moomin - Things I Left Behind

The name dreamcastmoe is somewhat synonymous with the Peckham based Rhythm Section INTL label. Despite this being their first collaboration committed to wax, the journey goes way back…from debut London shows in Peckham to adventures across multiple continents, the DC-London nexus is alive and well and this recording is a testament to that bond!

RS INTL founder, Bradley Zero, first caught wind of what was going on in DC via the godfathers of the current scene - Beautiful Swimmers. As much figureheads as they are mentors in the DMV - Andrew and Ari - aka 'the swimmers', put Bradley onto the dreamcast sound during their early visits to Peckham to play at the now legendary pool hall.

Interest was piqued and Liquid Deep (PPU, 2017) made a huge impact, quickly followed by Floral Place and then Outer Space/Up 2 U, which dropped on Future Times in 2018, cementing the newcomer as one to watch and putting him on the radar of the finest tastemakers around the world.

With a sound equally indebted to hip hop, house, hazy electronics and DC’s very own ‘go-go’ sound - dreamcastmoe, born Davon Bryant-Mason  burst onto the scene with a refreshing mix of styles matched with an irresistible personality. The biggest smile in any room, Davon has the rare ability to quietly command your attention, whether on stage or in person, and his rise and rise is an organic one, built on connection and camaraderie.

Dreamcastmoe found a home on the iconic midwestern label Ghostly International, but for old times sake we decided to come good on an idea borne out of mutual appreciation and a long standing friendship. Rhythm Section INTL is proud to announce that we’ll be joining forces for the next series in the iconic mixtape series: The Lost Tape Vol 3. Thanks must also go to Sam Valenti IV and the Ghostly/ Spectral family for being so gracious and understanding and allowing us the space to bring this project to life.

A week of studio haze with various configurations of music people produced “Always On” — presented here in three versions: the Club mix, Bonus beats, and Original mix.
